At Oak Summit Nursery, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality seeds and trees. We understand that sometimes, returns are necessary. Below you'll find our return policy, designed to ensure a straightforward and satisfactory experience.
Seeds Return Policy
We accept returns for seeds under the following conditions:
- Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receipt to ensure the freshness and viability of our seeds.
- Condition: Seeds must be unopened, in their original packaging, and stored at room temperature. We cannot accept returns for seeds that have been opened or improperly stored, as this compromises their quality.
- Initiating a Return: To start a return process, please email us. We'll guide you through the next steps.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Refunds: Upon receiving and inspecting the returned seeds, we will issue a prompt refund to your original payment method.
Exceptions
- Acorns and Scion Wood: Due to their perishable nature and the need for refrigeration, acorns and scion wood are not eligible for returns. Their viability can be compromised by extended shipping times and conditions outside our control.
- Live Trees: Live trees are not returnable. However, we stand by the quality of our trees and offer a guarantee, detailed below.
Live Trees Guarantee
We guarantee that you'll receive healthy, live trees from us. The success of these trees in your garden depends on various factors, including gardening experience, dedication, soil conditions, local climate, and proper care.
Planting and Care: For the best results, plant your trees in good soil, in an area with ample sunlight. Mulch and water them regularly, especially through the first year, to ensure they establish well in their new environment.
Guarantee: If any of your trees from us do not survive their first year, please reach out to us with detailed photos, and we will work with you to determine the cause. In cases where the trees have been appropriately cared for, we offer a good faith replacement at a 50% discount or a coupon for 50% of the value towards a replacement order within the first year after planting.
